So without further ado, here’s a list of all the main characters of the running anime series Jujutsu Kaisen.

1.  Yuji Itadori

Yuji Itadori, a bright and optimistic young man, finds his ordinary life shattered when he swallows a cursed artifact: a finger belonging to the legendary demon king, Ryomen Sukuna. This reckless act thrusts him into a world of shadows and curses. Driven by a profound sense of duty, Yuji becomes determined to protect innocent lives from these malevolent forces. To hone his skills and control the monstrous power within him, he enrolls in Tokyo Jujutsu High School, a specialized academy for sorcerers.

His ultimate mission becomes clear: to gather every severed finger of Sukuna scattered across the globe. By preventing these relics from falling into the wrong hands, Yuji hopes to maintain a precarious balance between humanity and the demonic realm. As he embarks on this perilous quest, he discovers a latent power within himself, fueled by Sukuna's cursed energy. With relentless training, Yuji develops extraordinary physical abilities and devastating techniques like the Divergent Fist and Black Flash, transforming him from an ordinary student into a formidable sorcerer.

2.  Megumi Fushiguro

Megumi Fushiguro, the enigmatic shadow of Jujutsu Kaisen, is a first-year student with a lineage as chilling as his demeanor. Hailing from the illustrious but ruthless Zenin clan, he’s a prodigy in the art of jujutsu, his talent as sharp as the shadows he commands.

A quiet contrast to his boisterous friends, Yuji and Nobara, Megumi is driven by a solemn duty to shield the innocent from the monstrous curses that plague their world. With a heart as cold as the night, he’s determined to hone his skills into lethal precision, transforming himself into an unyielding force against humanity’s spectral foes.

Furthermore, his mastery over shadows, conjuring fearsome creatures from the inky depths, makes him a formidable combatant, a silent specter that strikes terror into the hearts of curses.

3.  Nobara Kugisaki

Hailing from the heartland, Nobara Kugisaki is a breath of fresh air in the often grim world of Jujutsu Kaisen. With a personality as bold as her fashion sense, she's a force to be reckoned with.

This confident and outspoken young woman is driven by a burning desire to rid the world of the monstrous Curses that plague humanity. Her upbringing in a rural environment has granted her a unique perspective on the horrors these creatures inflict on innocent people.

Nobara's arsenal includes more than just grit and determination. Her signature Straw Doll technique is a testament to her ingenuity. By channeling cursed energy into a life-sized effigy, she can distribute damage between it and her target, making her a formidable combatant at a distance. Armed with a variety of clever tools, she's a strategic thinker who can hold her own against even the most powerful Curses.

Unfortunately, Nobara Kugisaki met a heartbreaking demise during the intense Shibuya arc. She fell in battle against the monstrous Mahito, a moment that shattered the hearts of fans in both the manga's 125th chapter and the anime's gripping 19th episode of season 2.

4.  Satoru Gojo

Satoru Gojo is the undisputed titan of the Jujutsu world, a sorcerer of unparalleled power and enigmatic charm. With a playful demeanor that belies his immense strength, Gojo is a captivating enigma.

His signature blindfold isn't a fashion statement; it's a necessity to contain his overwhelming cursed energy. A staunch defender of humanity, he's dedicated to shielding the world from the monstrous curses that threaten it.

As a mentor, Gojo is both inspiring and unconventional. He pushes his students to their limits, encouraging independent thought and unconventional problem-solving.

But beneath his laid-back exterior lies a strategic mastermind. His Limitless technique, a mastery of spatial manipulation, is the stuff of legends. It's a power so vast and versatile that it's almost beyond comprehension, allowing him to erect impenetrable barriers, deflect any attack, and even manipulate the very fabric of reality. To face Gojo in combat would be a daunting prospect for even the most powerful sorcerer.

Side Note: Do you wish to channel the power of the Jujutsu Sorcerers? Well, these hyper-realistic JJK figures will help you get that done! Legend has it that touching them grants you a fraction of the characters' cursed energy. So, what are you waiting for? become the ultimate fan and summon your own cursed spirit!

5.  Maki Zenin

Maki Zenin is a force to be reckoned with. Born into the shadow of a powerful sorcerer family, she's a defiant spirit who refuses to be defined by her lineage. A world away from the typical image of a Jujutsu sorcerer, Maki possesses no cursed energy. But where others saw weakness, she found a burning determination.

Driven by a desire to prove her worth and shatter the chains of expectation, Maki joined Jujutsu High. She traded spells for sweat, honing her body into a weapon as sharp as her mind.

Armed with unwavering resolve and a signature red naginata, she's a whirlwind of raw power and precision on the battlefield. Maki's journey from outcast to formidable warrior is an inspiring testament to the human spirit, captivating fans with her indomitable will and relentless pursuit of strength.

6.  Panda

Panda, a captivating enigma wrapped in fur, is a force to be reckoned with at Tokyo Jujutsu High. More than just a cuddly creature, he's a complex character with a mysterious origin story that fuels his determination. Created as a powerful cursed object, Panda seeks to break free from the labels and limitations imposed upon him.

With unmatched strength, speed, and agility, Panda is a formidable combatant who can overpower most opponents. But his true potential lies in his ability to transform. Like a superhero with multiple identities, Panda can shift between different forms, each with its own unique strengths.

From his standard panda form to his monstrous gorilla alter ego, and beyond, Panda is a versatile and unpredictable fighter, making him a fan favorite and a valuable asset to the Jujutsu High team.

7.  Toge Inumaki

Toge Inumaki is a mysterious enigma wrapped in a quiet, second-year Jujutsu High student. His unique way of communicating – a cryptic, cursed language that packs a powerful punch – sets him apart from the crowd. These carefully chosen words aren't just for show; they're weapons, capable of neutralizing enemies and protecting allies.

With a selfless spirit and a determination to shield the innocent from the curse-infested world, Toge is a formidable force. Despite the limited glimpses into his world, his intriguing character has already captured the hearts of many fans.

8.  Kento Nanami

Kento Nanami isn't your average sorcerer. He traded in his magic wand for a briefcase, swapping the chaotic world of curses for the mundane grind of the corporate ladder. But don't be fooled by his nine-to-five exterior. This former Jujutsu High student is a force to be reckoned with. With a steely resolve to restore balance to a world teetering on chaos, Nanami is a beacon of justice in a realm overrun by darkness.

His signature move, the Ratio Technique, is a mind-bending ability that allows him to pinpoint and exploit his opponents' weaknesses. Imagine dividing an enemy into ten parts and then striking at their most vulnerable point - that's Nanami's specialty.

Sadly, Kento passed away as a wounded warrior in episode 18 of season 2. As he battled, his mind retreated to a tranquil beach, a momentary escape from the chaos. Finally, victorious but battered, he found himself confronted by Mahito, the insidious curse. With a chilling touch, Mahito shattered Nanami's soul, his life extinguished in a cruel twist of fate, leaving his young student, Yuji, a witness to this horrific act.

9.  Ryomen Sukuna

Ryomen Sukuna, a name whispered with dread in the world of jujutsu, is the malevolent force known as the King of Curses. A relic of a bygone era, his power was once so immense that he was felled by a coalition of sorcerers, but not before his essence was splintered into cursed fingers. Now, a sinister shadow looms over the present as he seeks to reunite his fragmented being and unleash chaos upon the world.

With a repertoire of ghastly techniques at his disposal, Sukuna is a force of nature, his strength and speed unmatched. His ability to regenerate from even the most grievous wounds makes him a seemingly invincible adversary. A cold-blooded sadist, he revels in the suffering of others, his cruelty matched only by his insatiable hunger for power. Sukuna is more than just a villain; he's a terrifying embodiment of pure evil, a monstrous force that threatens to consume everything in its path.

Furthermore, his character met a natural end, but his spirit refused to rest, consumed by a thirst for vengeance. To prevent his terrifying rebirth, his body was desecrated, his fingers severed and sealed away. It was one of these cursed fingers that Yuji accidentally ingested, setting in motion a terrifying chain of events. Generations of powerful sorcerers rose to challenge the monstrous Sukuna, but none could claim victory over the King of Curses.

10.  Mahito

Mahito is a twisted nightmare masquerading as a human. This sadistic curse spirit is a venomous serpent, slithering through the world with a twisted philosophy: humanity is a failed experiment, a grotesque puppet show controlled by fragile, mortal bodies. His twisted ambition? Nothing short of extinction for humans, replaced by a grotesque army of cursed spirits under his command.

Mahito's power is as terrifying as his intentions. He's a master sculptor of flesh and soul, able to contort his own body into grotesque shapes and inflict unimaginable agony on others.

His most horrifying ability, however, is his "Self-Embodiment of Perfection" - a twisted domain where he becomes the puppet master of souls, able to reshape reality itself into a grotesque playground of pain and suffering. Facing Mahito is like descending into a living nightmare where your own body is a traitor and your soul is his plaything.

11. Suguru Getou

Suguru Getou, a once promising Jujutsu sorcerer, is a haunting enigma in the series. Once a classmate of the immensely powerful Satoru Gojo, Getou's descent into darkness is a stark contrast to his former self. A radical idealist, he envisions a world purged of ordinary humans, believing only Jujutsu sorcerers are worthy of existence. This twisted philosophy fuels his monstrous actions, including the cold-blooded murder of countless innocent lives.

His journey into villainy led to his expulsion from the prestigious Jujutsu High School, marking a decisive break from his past. Despite his dark path, Getou is a formidable opponent, possessing a range of deadly abilities. His "Curtain" barrier technique is a testament to his strategic mind, while his mastery over Cursed Spirit Manipulation showcases raw power. A complex and chilling figure, Getou's presence casts a long shadow over the Jujutsu Kaisen world.

In season 2, Gojo ends up killing Geto. Following this, Gojo decides against having Jujutsu High accept Geto's corpse. This gives the ability for an unidentified person to implant their brain into Geto's corpse, reviving it and giving them access to all of his powers.

12. Aoi Todo

Aoi Todo is the kind of guy who bursts into a room like a hurricane, leaving a trail of laughter and chaos in his wake. This larger-than-life character is an instant mood-booster in the often grim world of Jujutsu Kaisen, forming a surprising yet endearing bond with the series' protagonist, Yuji Itadori.

His life philosophy is as simple as it is audacious: get stronger, have fun. Todo's relentless pursuit of power is matched only by his insatiable appetite for a good fight.

His signature technique, Boogie Woogie, is as wild and unpredictable as he is. With a clap of his hands, he can swap places with anyone or anything, turning the battlefield into his personal playground. It's a move that's as dazzling as it is deadly, making him a formidable opponent and an invaluable ally.

13. Masamichi Yaga

Masamichi Yaga is the steady hand guiding the turbulent waters of Jujutsu High. As the school's principal, he's a pillar of wisdom, respected by students and colleagues alike.

With a calm exterior that belies a sharp mind, Yaga is dedicated to maintaining the delicate balance between the human world and the realm of curses. His mission is to mold the next generation of sorcerers into formidable defenders against these otherworldly threats.

While he possesses raw power and a deep well of cursed energy, Yaga's true strength lies in his strategic intellect and unparalleled experience. It’s a real shame that Yaga was executed by Gakuganji.

14. Mai Zenin

Mai Zenin, a member of the prestigious yet cutthroat Zenin clan, wears a mask of indifference as a second-year student at Kyoto Jujutsu High. Beneath this icy exterior lies a complex woman, deeply scarred by the clan's ruthless treatment of its female members.

Unlike her twin sister, Maki, who rebelled against the clan's expectations, Mai chose a different path, content to endure the mistreatment for the sake of a quiet life. However, Maki's defiance sparked a flicker of rebellion within her. Driven by a desire to prove her worth and escape the clan's shadow, Mai embarked on the path of a jujutsu sorcerer.

Despite her limited cursed energy, she compensates with an uncanny talent for marksmanship, turning her lack of innate power into a deadly advantage on the battlefield. But unfortunately, her character experiences an end when Mai gives her life to create the Split Soul katana, a Special Grade Cursed Tool, using her Construction Cursed Technique.

15. Yuta Okkutsu

Yuta Okkutsu, the heart-wrenching protagonist of the prequel film, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, was a young man haunted by the specter of his deceased childhood friend, Rika.

A prisoner of his own grief, he was a special-grade cursed human, a chilling title that hinted at the monstrous power his sorrow had unleashed. Recognizing the urgent need to help Yuta before tragedy struck, the enigmatic Satoru Gojo enrolled him in Tokyo Jujutsu High School, a haven for those gifted, and cursed, with supernatural abilities.

Like Yuji Itadori, Yuta possessed a deep well of compassion, a willingness to sacrifice everything for those he cared about. Yet, unlike his optimistic counterpart, Yuta's journey was paved with darkness. His mastery of cursed energy was a hard-won battle, a testament to his indomitable spirit.

But it was his extraordinary ability to copy the techniques of other sorcerers that truly set him apart. A living arsenal, he could mimic the powers of his opponents, turning the battlefield into his personal playground.

Jujutsu Kaisen has given us a captivating cast of characters, each one a unique gem in a treasure chest of personalities. From the heroic and the heartwarming to the terrifying and enigmatic, these unforgettable figures have breathed life into the series, turning it into a cultural phenomenon that continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
